What to expect
House of Praise Full Gospel MBC was founded by Bishop Wayne Thomas in January 2012. Originally, our congregation had only 8 members and our small assembly met in our home. We moved the Church to a store front on 2138 Lee Street in Alexandria, Louisiana and grew to 50 members. God blessed us beyond measure with a traditional House of Worship that we leased out in 2013. Finally, in 2016, we found our permanent home with the historic Beauty School at 2305 Rapides Ave. in Alexandria, Louisiana. This will be our permanent place of worship when renovations are complete.
When you come expect to feel the love of God and His power. Anticipate a supernatural experience of wisdom, grace, and family. You will feel right at home as you engage with our community, empowering individuals, families, communities, and cities.
Vision
Our vision is to establish a network of individuals, communities, businesses and nations that will reflect the character, principles, and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, impacting every aspect of society, including the municipalities, marketplace, and ministry.
